The Pryce Centre
For Culture & Arts.
We acknowledge our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Keepers of the places where we will be fulfilling our commitments. We pay our respects to ancestors and Elders past and present, and we honour the unique and meaningful spiritual relationship that our First Australian peoples have to the landscape, waters and celestial bodies.
Please note: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this website may contain images, voices or names of deceased persons in photographs, film, audio recordings or printed material. Please contact us if you have any concerns or queries.

Inspiration
Cultural protocol and authenticity at the heart
Our programs are designed by Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people whose valuable knowledge and skills have been combined with trained professionals in dance from the same cultural backgrounds. We develop these programs with the aim of enhancing participants’ cultural skills and knowledge. Our purpose is to encourage continued participation in cultural activities to improve self-esteem and confidence.
What to expect at a Pryce Centre class
We endeavor to create an environment where students, staff and visitors feel respected, valued and safe at all times. Cultural protocol, traditions and values such as Respect, Commitment, Leadership and Pride are embodied throughout the entire teachings of the Pryce Centre, with Culture Care and Culture Share being the two main programs in the area of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies.
